Password manager and memory analysis
All your passwords are belong to us
Currently people use more and more password manager to keep centralize all the passwords. Are they really safe? Are they resistant to a memory analysis?
During this presentation I will explain how it is possible to retrieve data stored in these container from a memory dump and using volatility by analyzing two softwares Password keeper (simple case) and KeePassX (more complex case).
